Two men charged in connection with jewelry theft


Two Binghamton men were charged in connection with a grand larceny investigation, according to the Broome County Sheriff’s Office.

Jamison Turkow, 33, is accused of stealing more than $1,000 in jewelry from a Town of Union resident and then giving the items to Michael D. Bill, 30, to pawn for cash.Bill was taken into custody, charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of stolen property and released pending future court action.

Turkow, who also faced a New York State parole warrant, allegedly hid with several friends in the Broome County area to evade police. Task Force took him into custody Charged with felony fourth-degree grand larceny.
